Qualifications
- 3-5 years of administrative assistant or project coordination experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point, and Outlook
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Able to deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations
- Able to adapt and react calmly under stressful situations
- Able to handle multiple assignments, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong ability in prioritizing, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work independently and flexibly with minimal supervision
- Ability to represent department/function in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities
- Ensures quality services for both internal and external customers, consistent with organization’s visions and values
- Responsible for multiple and simultaneous projects and supporting the stakeholder through all phases of implementation
- Responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with hospital and department strategy
- Provides timely support of project phases, resources, and produces documentation necessary to plan, define, and implement the assigned projects
- Ensures day-to-day functions of departments are operated efficiently and effective office processes are established, maintained, and regularly reviewed
- Ensures projects are in compliance with all applicable Hospital policies and procedures
- Partners with key stakeholders to optimize and successfully execute nursing activities
- Facilitates the planning, organizations, and activities of the department process to ensure efficient and effective work flow/coordination
- Gathers data for general information purposes and/or special reports and contacting employees, department, agencies, and individual for additional documentation as necessary
- Performs research and analysis (reports and data) for related projects and specific issues as required including funding opportunity searches and assistance with feasibility studies
- Responsible for drafting letters, reports, project plans, presentations, memoranda, etc. including providing administrative support
- Develops and disseminates material about research and sponsored activities with the Hospital
- Onsite travel as needed
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or Healthcare preferred.
- Prior experience in an academic or hospital environment preferred.
